Bangladesh restricted Sri Lanka to 226 in the second innings on Day 3 of the 2nd Test at at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur today.
The hosts are chasing a 339-run target. Sri Lanka were 200/8 at stumps on Day 2, with Roshen Silva unbeaten on 58 and Suranga Lakmal 7 not out.
Earlier, Lakmal and Akila Dhananjaya picked three wickets each as Bangladesh were bowled out for 110 in response to Sri Lanka’s first innings total of 222. The visitors will look to add to their lead on Saturday morning and take the Test further away from Bangladesh’s reach.
