
Faheem Ashraf became the first Pakistani bowler to record a hat-trick in Twenty20 internationals during the second match against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi on Friday.
The 23-year-old is the sixth bowler overall to register a hat-trick in the shortest format of the game, finishing with 3-16 in his three overs at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
Ashraf dismissed Isuru Udana, Mahela Udawatte and Dasun Shanaka off successive deliveries in only his third Twenty20 international before his team went on to record a two-wicket victory.
